Cushion Covers

Hi all,
Has anyone covered the cushions in the small dinette area of the 17' B? I found some fabric and want to be sure that I buy enough to cover them and have a matching bedspread (and if adventuresome enough, matching valances). What are the dimensions of the bottoms and backs? I know they are 4" high. Currently there is a sale at Joanne's fabrics for 50% off.

Re: Cushion Covers

Sandra, Tammy gave me the amount of fabric I needed for covering the cushions in the 19. We took what we chose to them when we visited. My wife Lisa, is making a duvet cover using some of the same fabric, with a matching border of another fabric too. She has already made a couple throw pillows, and plans on a couple more. We are considering valances too, but will have to wait and see after we actually get the trailer to decide what we will do there.

Re: Cushion Covers

Sandra- I went out and measured the cushions in our trailer. Our cushions are 5" thick, but these are just the side to side measurements so I hope they are okay. (approximate)Of course the bottom cushion has a curve in it.

Back Piece---27.5" X 14.5"

Bottom Piece With curve---30.5 x 24.5"

I had thought about that, but decided I need to Naval Jelly my sewing skills. Nice idea re:throw pillows too.

Thank you too, Anna Marie. The measurements will help me calculate the yardage. I will not be making covers for the large dinette as I plan never to use it as that. Reace offered the fixed bed arrangement, but I prefer to have the ability to crawl under the bed more easily.

Re: Cushion Covers

Sandra---those are the small front dinette cushions.
We also leave our bed always made up--will try it for a few years and then see how it goes. Have the nice topper, so I know it will be comfy...
With the outside cargo door it will make getting under that side of the bed very easy.
I can always throw big jackets or whatever under the bed as it is right now....

Re: Cushion Covers

Again thanks Anna-Marie. I gathered that based upon the dimensions in the "Trailer Fact Sheet". However, I'd forgotten about the curve on the bottom cushion, so your pictures were very helpful too.
