Custom Mods for the Hokie Escspe

While visiting the Escape shop last weekend, I made good on a promise to do some custom modifications on the Hokie Escape.

I started with borrowing a reciprocating saw from Reace to cut a nice big skylight in. This should allow for lots more natural light inside. We still have to figure out how to fit a skylight in the hole I made, but I'm sure a solution can be found.

Other mods were done too, but we will not be showing any of those photographs, we want it to be a BIG surprise.

It seemed like a good shower arrangement when I saw it. Not sure that it would work on my 13', though.

Hi: Jim... I wouldn't be afraid of Big Ol' Birdie... but if you get a sudden bout of severe pain all over your back...don't be surprised!!! Nissan owners can be very sticky about their vehicles

Well, I at least hope he has those big fat tires that produce a low PSI on the surface they go over.

Reace was quite innocent.....well, other then the snickering.

Not too worried about a remote controlled Nissan.

We are still looking for one that fits Sandra. Seems I might have cut the hole a bit too big.

Re: Custom Mods for the Hokie Escspe

Hokie could use the hole for astronomy. You could stick a good-sized telescope through it.

Ron, that is a brilliant idea.

The Hokie Hubble, nice ring to it.

I have not seen those commercials yet, don't believe in Voodoo anyway. I sure once we get the telescope installed in the opening roof hatch, the Hokie Escape will look great.
