Day 1, first mods on my new 5.0

It has been fun working on the new rig and starting on my list. My first priorities were inside the cabinet mods so we can start packing for our first camping trip on Tuesday.

First up were Effa Mesh baskets in the pantry. Next were LED lights in the upper cabinets in the living area. (The captain lights in the loft are enough for that area.. per Paula! ) The lights are made by Sylvania, their Mosaic brand. There is a little remote that lets one choose the colors and other functions. I threaded the IR receiver up through the speaker opening. It is that little white thing sticking up on the left speaker. It is completely reversible if I decide to move it without leaving a hole behind.

I ordered 12V drops in the cabinets where I needed them as part of the build. ($50 CAN each.)

Thanks Arnie At this point it would cost me $200 extra.

In our 21 we ordered 2 drops, you should be be able to reach all upper cabinets with 1 on each side. I'd imagine the 5.0 is the same.

My final build sheet went in weeks ago. I tried to get a custom graphic last week and the graphic was $85 with $200 added because I had already submitted the build sheet. So no graphic. I knew the rules so I'm not complaining. I'll try to figure some way to make it work.

I'm fairly certain Gidney does ETI's graphics. I'm sure you can source with them directly with your colour and specifying that you want ETI's font and they will supply it much cheaper. You'll just need to install it yourself. That's what we intend to do once we come up with a name/slogan.

"Skinflint"
skinflint noun don't be such a skinflint—you earn more than she does: miser, penny-pincher, Scrooge, pinchpenny, cheese-parer; meanie, money-grubber, cheapskate; tightwad; spendthrift.

How much do you want to spend and how much is it worth to you? Can't help myself. It's part of my DNA. I OWN more than 2,500 fonts... with a Commercial Use License and I can recreate anything anyone needs with the fonts I OWN. In case you're wondering, ETI has used a font called Handel Gothic Italic. You can buy it here https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/handel-gothic/... and once you own the font a sign shop can create whatever you need/want with the font.

I had the same issue. Here is what I did. Contact Gidney Signs. That's who Escape uses for all their graphics and they know the fonts and sizes. Their phone number is 604-858-5696 or you can email them at info@gidneysigns.com. They are off the next exit east from ETI. It is tricky to find since it is on Orr street off a frontage road. My GPS kept sending back and forth on Evens Rd until I figured out I had to go under the overpass right next to Can 1.

Anyway, they were very helpful. I have applied vinyl graphics before so I asked them to make up my trailer name and then I picked it up from them the day before my orientation. Just give them the same color and number from your build sheet. The price will be based on the font size and number of letters, etc. but still likely less than $50 CAN. You can find videos on You tube for applying vinyl graphics. It is not hard. Gidney even gave me a squeegee to use! Very nice folks.

I'll admit if you didn't post the definition, I would have assumed it was dirty :-)

Now that is pretty cool. Nice mod. Can you show a pic with a traditional white light? Are you able to control the intensity of the light?
