Dinette table pedestal
Hi...
Our build sheet for our 19 is due in a week... we're down to the nitty gritty.
I'll be working from the road so need a comfortable "office". I'm going to get a table pedestal that can be raised and lowered easily. I've narrowed it down to two choices... anyone have either of these? Opinions?
I like this one because the table top can slide in both directions:

Springfield also has options:

Thanks for any thoughts!

If you do a search, you will find lots of info on these pedestals. Especially the Springfield one. I am leaning to the Cosmo table, with the 4-way sliding top right now, which you can order direct. You can send it to Escape to install, I will likely just install it myself after I get my trailer.

Hi Jim... where will you be buying it? I'd love to find a source in Canada to get the great exchange rate and to avoid high shipping fees.
Thanks!

With most consumer products like this, you will not get any benefit from exchange rate, as they are usually priced at least that much higher anyway.
Thanks!

I couldn't find a place to buy in Canada, and even queried them on that, and in their simple respone (below) they said I would need to buy direct from them.

Mr. Bennett,
Thank you for your interest in our Cosmo table. The Cosmo table is made of two items. The table pedestal is our part# IP-15300 and is $245.00 and the 4 way table slide which is part# IP-153481 and is $135.00.
You may purchase one or both of these items directly from Dicor with either a visa or master card credit card. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.

Right you are, Jim. I just got this from Dicor:
We do not have anyone in Canada – Jeff Sibrt is our sales rep. here at Dicor. He is out of the office until Monday Sept. 28th. I have forwarded this to him. He will contact you when he returns.

Neither one of use have our table (or trailer) yet, but someone with a 21 or 5.0 would be able to clue us in. Of course, it would depend on whether you went with a U-shaped dinette, or not.
