Many places on the escape where you want to hang split wire loom from cable clamps are too confining to use a full size drill driver to put in the screws. I've tried to follow ETI's lead and tuck them into corners, many of which your doing it blind. Trying to do such with a regular hand screwdriver would be difficult at best, maybe a stubby would work if you only had a couple screws to do, but the cordless is hard to beat.

I find a 90 degree driver ideal for such, as well as drilling holes where the bigger tools do not fit. I actually have a swivel head Bosch as shown below along with a set of drill bits with the quick connect ends and a similar set of square drive bits like Jim shows, a short magnetic extension helps when you only have room for one hand..

Does anyone know the depth of the rear bench?

I measured from the floor to the underside of the lid yesterday, mine is 17", if that is what you mean by depth. With the dual batteries there is not a lot of available room in there.

The other depth is 18.5", as in the dimension of the cushion.

I'd expect some variation on the new body style.

While there is access between many of the sections of Escape trailers for those wanting to do modifications after the build, wire runs behind the bathrooms & across the door can be difficult (Although I've done both on my 17B). I'd try to have Escape do any of those during the build.

Since I enjoy doing modifications to my trailer, I expect that no matter what I add to my build sheet, I'll have lots of "projects" in the future. You will probably do a bit of a "gulp" the first time you poke a hole through the shell of the trailer, but it gets easier the next time!

plenty of outlets in the stock trailer. We did add reading lights over the U dinette and am glad to have them. We have the stereo and I love it.
