Electric Awning Mounting Track

Someone recently asked if the electric awning has a way to hang anything from the front, and someone else responded that it has a track under the leading edge. I thought I’d post pics to illustrate but couldn’t locate the original query, so am just throwing it out here. You can see it in the side profile here.

If you then use a bead like thisIMG_5168.JPG

You can do thisIMG_5163.JPG

I would never hang anything weighty in this fashion, nor know if it’s rated for any weight bearing, but retracting the awning with my wind spinner attached will just pull it in next to the trailer. No threat of fouling or damage, so no fear leaving it out if awning is unattended and autoretract is on.
