Escape Screen Saver

Here's a photo of our Escape Screen Saver. Keeps people and animals from walking through the hard-to-see screen.

And here I thought I was gonna get a cool picture to use on my computer
Clever idea though. What are the images made out of?

Ditto! I've had Egbert less than a week and already have almost gone through the screen twice. Gotta do something...

Kathy said she used 100% cotton yarn to do the designs. She drew the pattern on a piece of paper glued to a chunk of cardboard and then I went in the trailer and held it up to the screen and she traced it on the screen from the outside using white chalk. We then threaded a needle with the yarn and passed it back and forth through the screen to make the design. The ends of the yarn were then held in place with a small drop of Elmer's glue and trimmed when dry. Although there is a bit of drag when retracting the screen, it goes back into its storage area very well.

Come see it, and the Tiny Escapes, at the Osoyoos Rally.

In four years, my wife and one of my granddaughters each tried once. Even our dog knows better. Maybe I should try cleaning it.

Screen Saver

That was the first thing I did when we got our trailer. My husband was taking it to go fishing for a month so I figured I'd be preventative. I improvised by using a white eyeliner pencil to draw the design then followed it with a thin red yarn.
Mine was a simple design - nothing artistic like yours!
