Front Storage Box
Love the front storage box! It needed, however, some method of hanging hoses, electric cords, cranks, an ax, etc. Installed two lengthwise boards onto the back side frame to serve as a starting point for keeping stuff off the floor.

Re: Front Storage Box
I have been tempted to drill some holes one one side and fill with 6" ice and use the box as a cooler!! Anyone else ever consider this idea?

Re: Front Storage Box
Maybe with some insulation it could work. Otherwise I think the ice would disappear very quickly on a hot day. Of course it will be next summer before I could test that theory.

Re: Front Storage Box
We also love the storage box, but it is a pain when you need something on the bottom! This is a great idea. What kinds of hooks did you use for the axe? You could screw in some permanent hooks.

Re: Front Storage Box
I don't have the box, but I do have the space for it after Reace moved my propane tanks 90 degrees.
I've been trying to figure out what I can use that space for. The ice keeps dropping through the frame rails..

Re: Front Storage Box
Try putting the ice in your glass instead of your storage box and you'll all find your drinks stay colder!

Re: Front Storage Box
Still looking for the right mount for the ax. Want one of those similar to what they used to put on the sides of the old military jeeps. I use a rubber bungee with large "S" hooks for the power cord, and a regular bungee for the water hose. A smaller electric cord and smaller hose are tucked nicely in between the boards and the back of the fiberglass box, so far. The crank for the stabilizing jacks also fits this way, although I mostly use an electric drill motor for the jacks.

Re: Front Storage Box
Hello Up There,
It will not be long before you need no ice in your drink glasses or your front box.
As I was walking out of the house this early morning for work, I heard geese overhead going south to the coast.

Re: Front Storage Box
It doesn't matter how cold it is there still must be ice in the drink!! However the the ice does last a lot longer and it melting won't be a problem much longer.

Re: Front Storage Box
The ice is generally really small in my frozen Margaritas...but never lasts very long...
