Fun with pillows

Last year I was trying to find some throw pillows for the trailer - I know - it's the designer in me ... but nothing seemed quite right as far as color and pattern went. I eventually found some striped outdoor ones but while looking around, I decided to make my own "personal" ones. I saw these solid color outdoor cushions at Real Canadian Superstore on sale for $4.00 each. I took some pictures of the trailer and using my inkjet printer, put them on to t-shirt transfer sheets. Then I removed the stuffing so the pillow would lay flat, applied the transfer and re-stuffed them. Had to apply heat for longer than it would take to put one on a t-shirt but they came out pretty good. Transfer sheets worked out to about $1.25 each so all in all, an inexpensive way to add a designer touch. Noticed some graphic pillows in Homesense with a telephone image on them and they wanted $35.00 a piece! So get the look for less - design your own!
