BTW, even gaffer tape will tear the "oak" surface if you rip it off. Pull slowly and gently, or just don't.

Yes, 3m strips & hooks. The only thing I really miss about our Scamp is the rat fur and the ability to hang light things with Velcro.

Be sure to save and read the instructions for removal of 3M Command hooks.

Smile Hanging

Our Trillium has fiberglass interior walls and we use:

After we confirmed the locations, we used glue-on type.

I worked at 3M for 38 years and am quite familiar with Command Hooks. My recommendation is that for most uses in an Escape trailer that you use the outdoor version of the product, and it is also similar to the version for wet areas, like a bathroom. These versions have a different adhesive than the indoor version. With temperature swings in a camping trailer, and also the vinyl wallpaper, the outdoor version will tend to work better. Always follow instructions, and prep of the surface is always very important. And, if you do want to remove the product, go slow and easy for cleanest removal. George

We love our Umbra hooks. They are attached along the top of the wall where there is support. Next to our bed, we cut one in half and place each on top and bottom of the bed.

I have been leary about using command hooks on the vinyl wallpaper. Has anyone used them successfully? Thanks,
Karen

Lots. Literally dozens of applications between our two trailers. Use them in accordance with instructions and they work fabulously.

See post #27. The pictures posted show actual removal of Command hook. Read and save the instructions for removal or you will damage the wall.

I have used and removed successfully in both the bathroom and on the “wood” walls. The vinyl seems a bit fragile to me. Anyone at the rally who might have strips on their walls they could let me see?

Thanks, George. With that advice I think I’m ready to try some. Was always concerned about damage upon removal. -Tom
