Wow this is a great idea

Is it electric?

Yes, it is. I installed it for use when connected to power. Quiet and does not use up my propane.

I had Escape run power which I tied in on both ends when I installed the heater, and a run to the thermostat by the other one.

Man that is just too nifty. I do have a portable 1500 W ceramic heater that I can sit on the counter, your solution is just 1000 times more elegant.

I'm not sure how big the closet is in your 19 but here's a great little unit that would hold shoes. It's Elfa so a little spendy.

We just put the wider one in our 21. The link is for the narrow version. If you'd like to, you can customize the drawers.
