Higher Arc Faucet for Bathroom Sink

On this last trip I got to thinking that a faucet with a bit higher outlet would help the situation. It might be better for washing your face or brushing teeth? Any thoughts? Has anyone swapped out hardware?

I'm waiting to see the new single handle Escape model....the older 2 handle style always left too much water on the countertops.

I ordered this faucet for the bathroom and ETI will install it for us. I haven't a clue if it's higher arch than what they normally put in (doubt it), but I got it mostly because of my tendonitis and how it's easier for me to use lever faucets over the knob type.

We're not getting the sink.

So you will have a bath sink but no kitchen sink?

No, the original question was on the bathroom sink, not the kitchen sink, so that's what I'm referring to. Unless the subject header was a typo.

Okay, I looked at the link and my question is what are you doing for the shower? there appears to be no connection for a shower as the ETI installed one has. In fact it appears that most people purchase a separate shower handle and head. Laura is that what you are doing?

All I know is that I asked ETI if this could be installed instead of the regular faucet and they know we're not getting the sink. They said they could and they will. I read elsewhere (maybe a review on the faucet or at another forum; heck if I remember where) that it could be installed upside down to give more room for the shower hose. When I deliver it to them, I plan to take it inside the bathroom, along with the shower head we're supplying, to make sure it'll work. I'm assuming the end of the shower hose will attach to the outflow area of the faucet.

We'll see what happens with that assumption! And you know what, since I have both already, I guess I should check that out ahead of time. You think? That's a chore for later today!

Now I'm confused. The way this faucet attaches, I don't see how ETI would install it without a sink as a 'base'. One would think they would have to attach it to the wall somehow. Will be interested to see the pictures.

If one weren't getting the sink, I would think this would work better for a shower-only configuration.

Personal hygiene would dictate having a sink in the bath room versus using the kitchen area. I know of building codes that go along these lines. We tried getting a half bath, toilet only in a home and was told that there must be a sink where there is a toilet.

Not everyone would agree with this including me. A rule such as this would preclude using pit toilets or the great outdoors. But then I'm one of those who think society has gone way overboard with regard to sanitizers, antibiotics, and sterilizers.

Oh, ha ha! That is the type I got. I linked in the wrong one. Sorry for the confusion folks. Can I blame the cat (Spike) sitting in front of the keyboard making it hard to type? Didn't think so.

Certainly!
I was working with a utility provider to sort out a billing question by online chat yesterday, and one of our cats typed "as" to him. Fortunately, didn't get an extra "s"...
