A few Extra purchases

We also found recommendations for the following items:

Towing Mirrors - quite solid and quick on and off. $120

The finest SS BBQ I have seen yet - Dickinson Spitfire 180 Marine - also with low pressure input, and separate Aussie grill. approx. $300

Wow.
Now, what do you regret leaving off the option list?

Oh, and some other ideas..

This TV Tuner plugs into your laptop.Voila! HDTV with a PVR. Very small. $95

The Outdoor Screen room is really quit compact ( this is after being used...) My wife's shoes are a size 6...

We added the Surge Protector - based on stories I read about here...

Bathroom window for light and venting.

Roof line appearance and Storage

Someone earlier asked about solar panels, Air-conditioning and Max Fan appearance and clearance. Here we show that all of these things fit, oh so snugly, in the carport..

Also the Storage box, with dual batteries, is almost full of outdoor gear and is really helpful with the loss of space due to the rear u-shaped dinette design.

Aluminum wheels, side access door and the matching truck graphics

That's enough - but let me know if you want to see any other options I haven't shown. Earlier in this thread is a complete listing of what we ordered - which was quite extensive and has a number of other items...

Whew! Most impressive, Don. We can hardly recognize that it is the same trailer and model as ours. I certainly do like that couch set-up in the bed area. Nice fabric, too.

From the 2nd roof top pic, it looks like the fridge is now vented via the top of the trailer as opposed to the side. Is that correct? If so, does anyone know when Escape started doing that. Also, what was the reason for the change - does it offer advantages over the prior location?

Don - That's one sharp looking rig you've got & you weren't kidding when you stated that it was decked out.

The new roof top vent is with the new refer that Reace is now using, I think it is 4.5 c/ft. Escape started doing that this summer around July. The reason was the larger Dometic was no longer available and Reace requisitioned the newer but smaller model.

Really like how Reace did the rear dinette. Your trailer looks awesome.

Don,

What a GRAND Trailer. I really like the Extra drawers below wardrobe. Any chance you could include a picture of the inside of the wardrobe.

Thanks Jim

What a great build. Are the backup lights controlled by a switch inside the Escape or were they wired through the 7 pin tow connector to your tow vehicle ? It appears that your invertor has a remote control panel.
Thank you Jubal

The backup lights are controller by a lit switch on the dash, using the 7th wire.
The inverter also has a remote illuminated switch on the side of the storage bank.
We opted to put two shelves inside the wardrobe which we may remove at some point, as we are unsure which will work best. I'll add a picture next week.

The Escape folks were great craftsmen. So much depends on their skills.

Don, I am envious of your covered storage location for yor trailer, I had to stand on the roof of our van and sweep the snow off of the roof of our trailer yesterday, there was probably 2 feet up there. I just don't like all that weight on the roof. Also don't want all that melting snow seeping around the sealed stuff. A covered car port like what you have is ideal. Very nice trailer by the way, I hope after its all said and done you will be happy with it.

Trailer looks good.
