I might want that, Ron but I'm living in a dry state. No ocean, hardly any water. Where can I get rattan?

I was always under the impression that dead air space was an insulator, similar to double pane windows. Underbed and upper cabinets storage space with dead air space may help in keeping the interior of the trailer warmer, but if we circulate air into those areas are we defeating that effect?

Probably does, Jim, but I think the bigger problem is allowing a moldy (not mouldy) environment to go unchecked. Well, one problem I wasn't expecting is I see the inserted ply panel is not pinned in a cabinet door rabbet. It's in a channel cut into the rails.

RattanSupplies.com - Rattan Core, Rattan Cane Webbing, Herringbone Rattan Mat, Reed Diffuser Sticks, Chair Cane, Paper Cane Webbing, Synthetic Resin Material, Bamboo Poles & Bamboo Wares.

They're synthetic, don't rot or mildew.

They even have one for Jim B., latte coffee

Thanks Ron, but oh, man, I went to that website and decided right away I wanted to buy some Cappuccino S171370 plastic resin. Looked perfect! Then found out the company was in China. Not going to do that, for a 5 x 21" piece.

Maybe I can salvage some rattan from some crashed boat someplace.

Sorry about your cabinets Myron . Just a suggestion maybe use Ron 's suggestion or something like that . Also the metal like aluminum . I don't think I would put back any kind of wood . I know you are going to come up with something amazing . Pat
