I don't believe it would be much different from a 21 with a "U" shaped dinette - I have photos of a Lagun installation (and a table from marine Teak) here.

Since I was going to move the handle to the other side. I decided to take pictures as I went. Hopefully this helps others that want to make this change.

I picked up my 19 at the end of October, and the converter is now on the left, so there is no longer a need to switch the handle.

I not only liked your fabric, but the pricing is less expensive than what Colleen has been looking at.
Are you happy with your fabric choice (price wise)? Also, thanks for the Lagun modification ideas, great job on that.

Side seat for Lagun mount
This has been a really impressive, creative, and innovative thread. So much so, that I’ve decided to go the route with my camper. The rear dinette area is going to be my living quarters for eating, lounging, and sleeping. Not sure though, if the rear seat area is a tad too narrow for comfort. Adding a filler board and cushion would widen it, but the table would need to be removed to make room for the filler. (Then, the filler would be removed if the uncut table needs to be dropped down).
Is anything gained by mounting the Lagun bracket to a side? Would it even work?

🤔 Not necessarily. You could put a notch in the filler to clear the vertical support. If you put mount on the side I think you would loose much of the useful range on motion. Centered in the back the table easily pivots left or right , mounted on the side you can pivot front to back on the side that it’s mounted to, no where near as functional.

A bit off-topic but.... what Fabric is that? I really like the way it looks and might consider it for my build.
Thanks!

My experience too! Unbelievable in both shipping and costs.

Heads up
Just so anyone who's starting this install knows, if you use 2 3/4in. doublers, the supplied M8 countersunk screws are too short. You will need ones that are about a half inch longer.
Other than that it's a easy Job.

That’s a different approach. You’ve used two 3/4 inch pcs of ply to backup the thin seat board. Most others have instead used one layer of 3/4” ply plus a 90-degree shelf bracket.
Both have used an angle iron or angle aluminum across the top.
Interesting in that available storage is unhampered w/o the shelf bracket in the middle. Gotta ask about the table flexing without the shelf bracket.

I did use a 5 ft. aluminum angle on the top rail. And I'm just waiting on the inserts to put a angle bracket in the rear. Without the angle bracket there is a small amount of fore/aft flex.

Maybe try a brace front to back instead?

That looks good too. But I've already got the angles and the inserts should be here today so I'll just stick them in.
I'm and old aircraft mechanic and feel more comfortable with metal anyway. (wood scares me!)

I'm a young woodworker/carpenter/civil engineer and prefer wood over metal as I have way more ways of having control over it. But, this is not to say that metal is not superior in many cases, I sure would not want a wood frame on my trailer.

Ditto that - our old wood frame trailer was finally hauled off to the trailer graveyard. Won't have that problem with our new 5.0TA!
