Larger Black and Grey tanks

Does anyone know if the the black and grey tanks, on the early model 17b, can be exchanged for larger capacity tanks?

I was told no (for a 2006) - the mold was changed at some point to allow bigger tanks.

I have a 2006 17B and I don't think it would be possible to get a bigger tank. On ours, the toilet is on the left side of the bathroom, and the tank is just underneath it. On newer ones, I believe the toilet is on the right side of the bathroom and the tank extends under the dinette seat.

Hello J Mac.

If you are ever in North Van come and have a look at my added on black tank.18 1/2 gallon for a total of 26.
Which means I have two tanks, one overflows into the other.
That was the only way to go.
Had it done in Pitt Meadows at a cost of $ 800.
Have not bothered with the gray water tank.
There is a post somewhere from Thane Lundberg in California that inspired me to go this route.
Allan.
