Making good use of our IKEA shower curtain to block side sun at Anza-Borrego State Park. Added grommets to existing holes and used #10 bead chain for attaching. As you can see the curtain is a perfect fit and length for the side of the Carefree awning.

Those are 3 pound lead halibut fishing weights covered in red "dipit". That is a tool product available many places. (You want to cover the lead. )

Hey MODERATORS....
Since I am traveling I didn't think about fogging out my license plate. Is there something built into the forum that recognizes plates and fogs them or did one of you do that for me

Cool!!!

Actually I'm working on the kit, but undecided about selling just the structural parts (with the cording to sew to your fabric) or just white fabric. Have all the prototype parts on hand.

I can't sew!

Not sure what you are seeing, but the license plate is perfectly legible to me.
Also, not sure what a scammer would gain by being able to read it.

A couple weeks ago, someone posted a bar sink and faucet that they got from Home Depot. I didn't write it down and now I can't find it .... can anyone help?

I'm working on galley stuff on my Build Sheet.

Also thinking about having 2 fresh water tanks installed for my 17A. One normal position - 30 gals, 2nd instead of gray water tank - 30 gals - that position, black water tank installed but plumbed as a gray water tank - 20 gals. Y valve to pass sink drain to re-purposed black tank for when I'm around other campers .... other Y valve leg to bucket outside when I'm boon docking.

Any thoughts ..... I like boondocking so extra water might be a nice feature. Weight / balance might get complicated.

This is the sink Robert is looking for: Franke USA FrankeUSA 20-Gauge Single-Basin Drop-in or Undermount Stainless Steel Bar Sink

Robert don't forget to buy the drain!

Yes, the sink Robert was looking at and the link Glenn provided is the sink I had put into Ten Forward. It's about 1/3 wider and deeper than the standard ETI bar sink. It's really a prep sink rather than a bar sink. I would NOT put the sink in, if you're considering the oven. You'll lose too much counterspace. To me, the counterspace in the kitchen is grand! Also, consider turning the stove to portrait to gain back the inches you'll lose at the sink.

Love it!

We second Tim and Julie's idea of the fishing weights to hold the curtain down. Been using it since last year when we saw theirs and it works great. We are also considering the window shade over the refrig wall, although we are having fairly good luck with our refrig at less than 90F. Maybe the insulation I installed inside and a full door area helps and then the fans in and out. Who knows?

I took care of it for you Tim. If anyone is still seeing the license plate numbers, clear your cache.

I'm also thinking about a larger fresh water supply . Maybe possible to install an additional tank under the bed ( in a 21 ) only to be filled while stationary. I have not spoken to ETI about this modification ?

The issue of having more fresh water, is that if you let it down the drains, is where do you store this extra volume after use, unless you use a wheeled tote to drain your grey and black tanks.

For us, using a separate portable tank is by far the best solution, as we use a lot of water outside, where we do most of our cooking and eating. It is handy to have a water container nearby, without having to go pump it through the trailer taps.

Though, into the future, it is still a thought of mine to provide some sort of exterior taps on the passenger side of the trailer, which would be real handy for this use. Hmmm.... maybe more onboard water might not be so bad then.

Hey Jim that's what I was thinking, even just installing an outside shower with a short hose and no shower head. It could easily be installed on the outside wall and tied into the sink plumbing.

Cheers
Doug

ps: I'll bring a sawzall and pex cripper to the rally.
