Re: Looking Glass

Hi: All... Just thought I would revisit thru the looking glass. We have two in our 5.0. One factory installed in the cupboard door above the fridge and one full length metal framed one I installed on the outside of the bathroom door with "No More Nails". It's still stuck after 2 years of travel!!! Alf

Re: Looking Glass

What I read in your earlier post, and should be noted, is that you used No More Nails on the frame for the mirror, not on the mirror itself. The glass shop I went to for my mirror ( plexi ) said not to use No More Nails on the back of the mirror because it would remove the silvering.

The plexi I used is expensive at $12 a square foot, but you can drill through it in the corners to mount it with screws.

I too mounted it to the inside of the bathroom door. With the bathroom door open, you have the light in the bathroom on one side of you and you can have the light at the entrance to the trailer on the other side.

Re: Looking Glass

Hi: baglo... I should have restated that I did indeed apply the No More Nails on the metal frame of the mirror. I also have a tube of mirror adhesive that will not affect the silvering. Either way it's still stuck on the door without using screws. The mirror installed by Escape is in place of the wood panel in the cupboard door above the fridge. Only trouble with it... it shows the bald spot on the top of my head. Alf p.s. mirror is visable under the towels hung on the hooks on the door.
