So one of us can sleep while the other stays up, we'd like to make a curtain to separate the living area from the sleeping area. Can someone provide the measurement between the overhead cupboards in the sleeping area, and the measurement from the ceiling to the mattress platform at the foot of the bed?
Thanks in advance!

The measurements you requested:
Width between cabinets: 45"
Height between ceiling and mattress platform: 42"
(the height available to the top step is 56")
We chose to hang our curtain further from the mattress so we could sit at the end of the bed if we wanted privacy while changing clothes, etc. So our curtain rod goes between the corners of the bathroom and the cabinet next to the door and it hangs down to the middle step. That measurement is 37" in width and 63" in height. My wife made our curtains 52" wide and 61" long - we have a second one if needed for a guest in the dinette bed.
