Media Shelf Mod

Here's my just completed dvd/sat receiver shelf. I got the idea with my first Casita and refined it when I moved into my second one. Turns out it was practicing all along for my new Escape!

I asked Escape to build a 12"x30" shelf using cabinetry material when the trailer was going through the build. The final project looks very professionally done. The spacers are 3/4" pvc spray painted with Krylon plastic paint. Yet to do, I will be gluing matching painted plastic screw caps onto the 1/4" bolt heads that hold it to the upper cabinet. I have 20k miles on my previous designs and they are very sturdy.

thanks Donna. we really aren't tv-types anymore since we got addicted to satellite radio. I put a thin and lightweight 21.5" tv in the corner and a blue ray player on the shelf. Now we're good to go for those dark and stormy nights on the trail when a good film noir strikes Ann's fancy!

It looks classy and takes up minimal real and visual space...a very good idea.
