wondering do you have a link to those coat hanger thingies to the right of your bathroom door? looks like there is two of them made in some kind of wood with foldup hooks. thanks

Those are the Umbra hooks that a lot of Escape owners use.

Umbra Flip 5-Hook Wall-Mount Rack/Rail, Natural/Nickel https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000CAPEF..._qHRmxbZKXHQC9

I bought two 5 hook sets and then cut them into 2 with 2 hooks and 2 with 3 hooks and then put them in assorted places around the trailer.

The maps are self-adhesive and dry-eraser-able. Made by the same people who make the whiteboard dry erase sticker I used in other places in the trailer.

Brewster Wall Pops WPE99073 Peel & Stick USA Dry-Erase Map with Marker https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00408AA9O..._oKRmxbYS73PR8

I have a laser pointer for doing show and tell or route discussions or geography lessons for the kiddos or whatever. And an assortment of colored sticky dots to mark places.

It's on its way. Love one-click on Amazon...it's almost like it's free, right?

This is the kind of thing, if it were done when I was a kid, would have made me think I had the coolest Dad ever. (Then again, I was always a geography nerd)

Thanks for sharing it.

That is so great to use for a bunch of trips, being able to make new routes over and over.

Like that spice rack, too.

You look ready to go!

Front Window Condensation

We have the thermal window package, but in cold temps the single-pane front window can still get a fair bit of condensation on it, so I cut Reflectix to fit inside the rock guard and VHB'd it in place. If we close it at night we get zero condensation. On that window anyway.

Cabinet Tension Bar Fix

Do you have problems with items knocking your cabinet doors open and then having a party in your trailer while on the move, despite using tension bars and skid mats? We occasionally did. But no more. If you can fit a tension bar behind a cabinet face there's no way they can get knocked out, but on some of the cabinets that isn't possible. I found some rod hangers that fit the end of the tension bars perfectly and hold them and all the other rowdy things in place.

Tiny Free Library

And my favorite mod: our Tiny Free Library! Take a book. Leave a book. Meet new and interesting people! Get new and interesting trades for your books! I had some leftover cedar scraps from a cedar closet project and thought to myself, "Self...those scraps look a lot like a Tiny Free Library." And right I was.

It comes off into two pieces, box and post, while in transit.

If you've never heard of Little Free Libraries, check out littlefreelibrary.org. Note: ours is not a registered Little Free Library, but instead an independent "Tiny Free Library". Same idea, but we're not going to join Little Free Library just yet because ours is mobile, so it can't be registered to a geographic location. Hopefully the shark lawyers understand that we're not trying to steal intellectual property rights but just share books with people.

Nice. Got some Reflectix left over in the garage and I think I know where it will go.

Oooo, I love this one! Great way to recycle books. I've thought about putting one of those up in front of our house, but that's on the huge to-do list that keeps growing.

We have a Little Free Library in front of our house. We enjoy watching people stop by, bringing a book or taking a book. We often find good books there. As care takers we only have to devote a small amount of attention to them -- it is amazing how they "just work". Occasionally we take out books that have been there a long time, and replace them with ones that are more popular, but that is about it. Oh, and we remove the Jehovah Witness pamphlets that get left every now and again. If you get a chance to put up the library, definitely do it!

Very High Bond tape. Ask Charlie. He uses a ton of it.
