No rain -- she's stored under cover at home and it was dry as a bone up north.
And yeah Sandra, I think we're equating benching and hatching
I'm going to just cross my fingers and hope that this was some sort of very weird one sided condensation thing. Knowing there don't seem to be other obvious options helps -- I just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking anything obvious. Thanks, all.

I wanted the hard propane tank cover so ETI converted it to side by side to accommodate the cover. Coincidentally, there is now room for the storage box.

That means I there would be enough room to open the hatches and put a small storage box on the front. I am thinking that this arrangement would not interfere with the "equalizer" hitch brackets. correct?

The side-by-side tanks are entirely ahead of the typical location of WD brackets, and I believe that the optional storage box is entirely behind them... not by accident.
Although I realize that most people really like the storage box, I don't like the idea of stuff hanging off the sides of the A-frame tongue. It looks like a small storage box that is narrower and tapered to match the tongue would still block the forward-facing access hatches unless the rear corners were kept narrower than the frame.
