Ah-ha ... very clever, Chris. Can you provide just a little more detail describing the, "...fiberglass flange?" I'm uncertain what that is; can you screw into it? Appreciate the tutorial!

Boy, I sure hope "fart smeller" has a more friendly connotation up there in the Great White North than down here in the south where things are taken a little more literally Either way, "yes," he sure knows his stuff. BTW, I appropriated your choice of location for a Sirroco fan in the loft this past weekend. Unlike the Bora fan which is made in a Canada (that I installed in the dinette) the Sirroco is made in China. Hope it holds up...time will tell.

Oops, I meant "Smart Feller".

We love that can there. Have used it near every trip. Real nice when having a nap during a warm day.

Each bulkhead or panel wall that joins the side of the trailer is attached using screws. The screws go though the panel and into a thin fibreglass flange that is glassed to the outside wall. ETI may also add glassed in plywood screw too. See the attached photo, it shows several fibreglass 'flanges' running from the floor to the roof, each one will have a bulkhead attached to it. If you look in any of your cabinets, you will see brown screw covers, each one is a screw going though the bulkhead into a flange. And, Yes you can screw into them.

Wow! Just WOW! I just spent a couple of very enjoyable hours going through your blog on the 5.0 TA mods. Now I see where Jim got some of his ideas. Incredible craftsmanship, creativity and execution. Well Done!

Today I finished another mod to the beside lights. We had found the ETI stock lights beside the bed were not flexible enough, so I got a couple of gooseneck lights and moved the stock ones to the far corners of the dinette. Previously, I have changed one of the bedside lights to a 3way switch, one switch in the light and the other by the door. Since I was installing new lights and moving the stock ones, I decided to make them all 3way, all switched from the cabinet beside the main door. The first photo show the single 3way switch.

Chris, tried to find an applause emoji but no luck. Your work is really amazing. Just looked through your blog...a fascinating read. Here I felt so proud because I replaced my analog thermostat to digital!
