Priority mail

Now the box to Georgia mailed in small town North Dakota got there in two days, obviously went by air, a pretty big box for $18. And they have less stores in ND than our zero stores in MB, the population of the state is half of MB
One time I got a call from an Orchid grower in Hawaii. He was looking for a discontinued model of a Japanese pruner we handled. We had 22 pairs of the ones he wanted. I put them all in a priority mail shipping box and sent them from Iowa to Hawaii for about $15. If it fits it ships is the motto of this service. Good deal for both of us.

Here in Penciltucky, when I mail a letter to a neighbor on the same street, the letter is picked up in York and travels to Philadelphia, 90 miles away where it is post marked and delivered 3 days later back here in York?? I should have saved the postage and just walked it down 100 yards!

And yet my box sent from here to Kelowna, BC, 300 miles away, was last seen in San Francisco on Friday, four days after I shipped it, at an exorbitant rate, via USPS. I could have driven it there and returned home in one day.
