It sure is Cathy . We have the oven so I would be worried about any flammable material on that top . It is hinged and want to keep it that way and don't want something to go on top . There are vents on rear of stove top where heat comes out . Pat

Oh, I was not thinking that it was hinged! Scratch that. .

We don't have the oven. Would be nice to have.

I was thinking about the covers people put while travelling.

I know would be easy to make but had a oven in our camper and those vents if you forget to remove cover gets HOT. Made a nice cover with a cut in granite tile with back open for the vents for our camper . So am looking for something to put on metal that can take heat . Even when you fold cover back the hot vents are right there . Pat

Great work Pat. The accumulator does make a difference and the pump doesn't have to work as hard.

I suppose if I were going use the water pump more than we do, I'd consider swapping out the cheap Shurflo with a better pump like a Flojet.

Nice job, Pat. Good to see how you approached it as I have one sitting in the garage to be installed. Moving the pump horizontal is one thing I’m considering as well.

Hi Greg . Yes I should of been able to do this in 15-30 min . It took me a couple of days .Mostly trying every which way to Sunday to get it to work . Ending up adding a wood floor extension the pump is sitting on . On the one line coming from the water tank , adding about a 8 in extension to the water line . The space as you know is horrible to work with . You need to be able to get to accumulator tank to add air so couldn't even put it behind . What a pain . Hopefully though our pumps will last longer now as they claim . Pat

Good job. I think that accumulator tanks are worthwhile even if they don't make the pump last longer. Being frugal with water we don't leave our pump on full time. With the accumulator tank it's nice to be able to get small amounts of water without having to turn the pump on.

Good going, Pat. Know you will like your new set-up much better. I was wondering if you were having some trouble! Sounds as if you did. Glad you got it.

What fittings did you need? Did you have an Artesia?
