Might i suggest a adult beverage of choice while performing all these upgrades. Perhaps only one or two though, some of this stuff looks like it could go horibly wrong if ones judgment is impared.

Re: Planned modifications for my 19'

Today I added 2 more indicator lights, one for the master cut off switch under the front dinette and another one for my heated 12v pads. That one took me awhile as I could not find a ground/negative for the led light to function. finally found one on the water line. I'll use that until a better source can be found, maybe I can tap into the refer's negative, it works when I touch the hinge. I also moved the extinguisher to the kitchen and mounted a remote holder where the extinguisher was by the dinette,

Re: Planned modifications for my 19'

Only problem I see is that your fire extinguisher is now located just above the pot on the stove that caught fire... could be to hot to handle.
On my 17B the fire extinguisher is on the side of the wardrobe, at the door, so should there be a fire, I can grab it and use it with my back to the door so I can get out.

CP should have prewired his trailer at the factory before they finished the interior. It would have saved him many hours of work.

Today I finished installation of a new electric wall heater. I wanted something more permanent than the portable ones with plugs all over the floor and they are also very noisy. I found a very quiet Broan in wall 1000 watt heater with the option of reducing the wattage to 500 watts by disconnecting a wire during installation. I ordered it on Amazon and upon inspection I decided to add a switch to the unit to allow
either one heat element @ 500 watts or dual elements @ 1000 watts. I installed the unit at the end of the dinette to disperse the heat evenly throughout the trailer. I also installed a wall switch that has a red light when the unit is on. I tapped into an existing outlet for my power and also converted that outlet to a GFCI unit that will cut off power to the heater in the event of any electrical issues. The unit was around $80 on amazon and it is more quiet than the furnace, really impressive. It draws 4 amps on low and with the switch thrown jumps to 8 amps. Completely encased in metal, I fell it is a lot safer than the portable units.

Next up, a new wood bath door replacement that will allow air to circulate via louvers in the door, similar to shutters.

The rear of the heater, it is encased in a metal box. I mounted it in a wooden frame to give that hole some structural rigidity. Not really needed but I felt better surrounding the hole with some framing. The front table slats are right there and I wanted to keep the area as strong as before the cut.
