The lights draw from .3 amps to .1 from high to low. I'll have to wait til tonite to test them completely. But with that small draw they could be left on while parked at a rest stop for extra security at night time. For truck stops I bought 2 of these to stick on the bumper or for a roadside emergency. Thanks for showing awning LED light pictures. It looked very nice. I discovered that the HD carries mounting channel which looks very similar to earlier posting. The width is 10mm.
6 feet long for $4.27. They are located at the LED light section. The Sku # is 406171.

Yes, they are $9/each but $32 for 3, so I guess the bag costs another $5?

Took some more pictures as it got darker, these show both the low and high outputs. The first two was with the awning closed, the last two had the awning partially opened. Really pleased with the results.

Hi Jim,

Your Awning light is very nice. I like it and am considering buying from the same vendor. I would like your feed backs on followings: How well is the strip light backing adhere to the channel? Is the inner surface of the channel flat or curved? Is the light bright enough at night since the strip light is not a 5050 product? Thanks.
