Took some pictures of some mod's today. I installed some led's in the kitchen overhead, the wires were very thin but there is a small gap along the top where the vinyl abuts the cabinet. I was able to wedge the thin wire all along the inside top. These lights are battery operated Amazon.com - Rtgs Micro LED 20 Warm White Color Lights Battery Operated on 7ft Long Silver Color Ultra Thin String Wire - Starry String Lights
I also installed a red model inside the "cubby" holes. These are individual plastic covers that yu will need to remove 2 or 3 screws holding them in place. Do not remove them all or you will not be able to line up holes again.

I also found a small cabinet that will hold my small 8" tv I use next to the bed. It is free standing now, will attach to wall tomorrow.

If you had installed your bigger tv on the wardrobe wall, do you think the tv arm could be turned so that you can see it in the dinette?

The person on the street side would not, however where it is now, I can swing it into the aisle and it can be watched from kitchen and the bed.

Hmmm...decisions, decisions...we don't really want to add another cable access point, so we were thinking maybe putting it on the wardrobe....may have to think on this a bit more....

I'm having the cable access put at the dinette area. I'll use a DVD player for the bed area. Different strokes for different folks! BTW, I'm also getting two televisions.

We originally thought the dinette area and then we considered wardrobe area and flip it so you can see from the dinette location if you wanted to....the reverse would likely work too. Just gotta make a decision and go with it...ha!

We put by the wardrobe-building ours now! We pick up March 12th! Love the lights Jim!

Pretty excited. Got pictures already, but didn't post yet. Hoping our fabric and formica turn out like we want! We also got the u shaped dinette, so thanks for the measurements!

We couldn't make up our minds so we put TV swing arms in two locations, one in the dinette and one on the wardrobe. The swing arms we mounted allows our 23" TV to be viewed from both the front and back of the trailer, although the passenger side dinette has issues with the wardrobe location. We had ports for the Jack antenna, Cable TV, and AC outlets installed at both locations. The TV is easily relocated using the swing arms we chose, and the DVD player is no issue either. It works at home, we'll see on the road.

Jim, could you expand on the LED lights? How do you control the kitchen overhead lights? Put in a switch or . . .? Also on the cubby hole lighting, looks like one string, correct? Did you happen to take any pictures of the installation, especially of the cubby hole?

They are battery operated, control is in overhead. The cubby hole, you remove the caps and there are screws holding each cubby, 4 each. If you remove only one side, left or right, you have some wiggle room to pass the wire down from the top, there are no barriers between to prevent easy install. Just do not remove more than 3 screws, the cubbies are only plastic and flimsy while free hanging…...

Now that it is finally above freezing, I have about 90 days of planned modifications to do in the next 30 days before the first extended trip in April. Now where do I begin...

I, for one, would be interested in a list. Your modifications are a good source of ideas.

Running a 12v line either from the battery inside or the 12v outlet overhead to the kitchen side cabinet by the door and adding a 12v monitor and a switch to outside step light. Installing my Jensen am/fm weather radio with blue tooth speakers, installing 2 lights under the bed, installing 2 led dimmable lights over the kitchen area, adding red led to bathroom for nightlight, adding coiled breakaway wire and 2 coiled safety chains, 7 way plug protector/holder, tire cover install. Installing gutters along the roof line for water run off.
This is a start.

Broan heater install

Jim

Did you have ETI leave out an access door under your bed where you installed your Broan electric heater? I have seen some pictures on some others where there is a door there. Thanks again.
