Protecting a Shunt

Anybody have a lead on something to protect the shunt in a TriMetric battery monitoring system?
I know it's just negative leads but I'd still like to have it enclosed.

I just let it hang out between the battery box and the paneling under the seat. It is a pretty tight fit in there. Worse case would be dropping something into the crack, but as you said it is negative. Models, other than a 21, may not have this "feature".

I haven't done one but I see a Blue Sea 2719 is suggested for a 500A shunt (not waterproof):

also Victron makes the BMV-700H Shunt box but it does not look like it is available separately. Might try calling Victron.
