Range Hood Vent light
This is a picture of the incandescent lamp in our 2015 17B range hood vent. I would like to change this light to a LED version. What LED bulb/light will fit and where would I buy it?

All you need is a small wedge LED. Superbrightleds.com has them, Amazon, and a host of other sites. We picked one up that has LEDs all the way around (round type) but the flat/pancake ones work too.

you may want to get a down vies wedge base light, in other words it is a flat faced led bulb with all the light going down vs 360 degrees, but with a wedge base.

All wedges do not fit where other wedges do. I have had bulbs in warm that did not fit that had exactly the same numbers as the ones in cool that did fit. So I can only say that there is no telling until you put them in.

Well I bought a couple of "flat" lights from Amazon. Now it seems that the little clip that held the original bulb doesn't allow the bulb to sit in the middle of the hole. What have the rest of you done to "get it in" so that it sits in the middle and the diffuser will go back on"

I'm seeing three available options: - duct tape
- scissors
- smaller LED

I'd use a smaller led.
