Thanks, Jon; that's good to know. I'll likely use Velcro to attach the base unit in the trailer and can use the reset function to ensure accurate reading. My 4.3 struggles to keep food cold but this weekend I'm hoping to install the new insulated door provided by ETI and want to monitor its contribution to improved performance.

Well I guess aside from being a redneck I must be old school, this is the wireless thermometer I have been using for ages.

Cheers
Doug

Definitely old school... but the wireless camera setup you need to see it while it is inside the refrigerator is definitely new school!

Mine is Bios. Another fine product from Walmart ( Canada ). Cheap, but it works well enough. Runs on a AAA cells. Records Max and Min. No alarm.
I've never tried it in the car. I figure there are enough distracting things in the vehicle and I'd rather keep my eyes on the road.

I had heard that Elon Musk had one in the works but I gave up and ordered the Accurite.

I use a LaCrosse with 3 remotes. The base is Velcroed to the cabinet door over the dinette. There is a remote in the freezer, refrigerator and the propane tank locker. I can keep the freezer at +/- 3 degrees (F) no matter the outside temp. Not so much for the frig. The back of the frig will hold 40-45 in hot weather. The door shelves 50 - 55. I wish they would come up with a door solution for the 5 CF frig in the 5.0.

And in the 19 too! At the Bluebonnet Rally Steve and Cynthia mentioned the poor performance of the 5 CF fridge in their 19 once the temps went up.
