Finally some sun and a chance to stick on the new Camco replacement hatch lid. I cracked my old one using a hoe to break ice and snow off the roof so I could get the trailer usable in Jan.
The replacement lid is advertised as unbreakable and it's polycarbonate. There's a major difference between the old and the new. I wouldn't change one if it wasn't damaged but the new ones are much more sturdy. They're thicker and have a center rib which makes it much more rigid.
So, a shot of the old with damage, the underside rib of the new style, how nice my Air Miles Little Giant ladder works for jobs like this, and the "A/C ready" wiring for anyone who was wondering what it looked like.
I got the white because I have a piece of foam that fits in for winter insulation and to block light and heat. And when I don't want to do those things I want light, lots of light.
