Retractable shower door

I haven't had a lot of luck with the suction cup holder for the shower head. Keeps falling off, so I generally hold the shower head for the Old Bag and operate the on/off button.

We have the outside shower with a privacy tent and it works great.
No shower inside the 15A so we really appreciate having the outside one when doing most of our camping in sites without shower facilities.

I think for us, the lack of use also comes from the fact it is on the backside of the trailer. Often that side is right along unusable ground, due to slope, rocks, trees, etc. It might be better on another side, but there really is little option on the 19.

Should there ever be another trailer in our future, I would likely do some sort of removable system that connects via quick couplings, something that would be handier for use on the front side for cleaning dishes, dogs, etc, as well as showering.

I think the o/s shower could be mounted under the sink, curb side due to the plumbing being there.

We have adapted our camping style to accommodate the shower being on the trailer diver side. If we feel we will be using it at a site they we try to take advantage of the natural layout to provide some privacy to the shower area. That usually means set up between the trailer and the natural trees which usually are present in the provincial cap sites which we prefer. We also have a 4’x4’ privacy shelter which we set up alongside the trailer when we need to shower.

We also like to use the shower wand to rinse dishes. Not as convenient as having it right near where you wash the dishes but hey, how far is it to walk around a 15’ trailer. Also the water mess is then kept away from the doorway of the trailer to an area that access is not usually required except to use the shower water. I also like to take advantage of the free exercise I get by having to walk around to the other side to rinse dishes. Bonus! All adds to the reason we camp to be outside with nature enjoying all that it has to offer including exercise.

Like Baglo, we use a padded waterproof mat system to put onto the ground to prevent dirt splatter and provide a cushy platform for the feet.

Part of the picture for us too, is that we rarely shower at the trailer. I have had 4, and my wife 2, in just over 4 years now. It is rare we are at a campground, but when we are we use the facilities there, and when boondocking mostly just sponge bath. For me, having very little hair on my head, that is an easy thing to do. Plus, I can get Momma to wash my back that way.

I would expect it to be a shower curtain replacement and not the door replacement, (in the Escape) ergo...no transparency worries.
