RV State Sticker Map
Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there.
So my wonderful daughter got me this "state sticker map" for the escape: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MT3MXK7...v_ov_lig_dp_it
(I guess I need to curate my Amazon wish list to only those things I really want in lieu of things that just catch my eye )
Does anyone have something like this stuck to the side of their rig? I am a little concerned that once it inevitably fades and rolls up on the edges it will be hard to get off the fiberglass. If it were just mounted a glass window (not that I'm suggesting doing that), it would be easy to remove with a single edged razor blade.
Thoughts?

You could cut a piece of plastic or smooth wood to the shape of the mounted map and then either stand or mount it to something.

We bought a plain white spare tire cover and affixed the map to that, it worked pretty well.

I mounted mine on my front window interior, it would not last long anywhere on the exterior. Perhaps on your back window?

Inside of the door? How about supplementing with a Canadian province one too.

In a moment of weakness, we bought one too. I plan on mounting on the inside of the door .... if at all.

My daughter gave me both Canada and US for Christmas. They are same scale so mounted adjoining on the inside of door.

I bought a cheap poster frame, cut the clear plastic to fit our fridge and stuck the map to that. It slipped right in over the wood grain panel.

We get a sticker from each park or place we visit. I cut a piece of plexiglass to fit the space next to the bathroom door in our Escape 19 and mounted it to the wall using 3M Command hooks. I put each sticker on the plexiglass so we can see each park or place we have visited. Since it is in the trailer, it is protected from the weather. And we see it whenever we enter the trailer. We have now been to so many places that I had to add a second piece of plexiglass below the original piece.

We use this website. http://visitedstatesmap.com
You can update states visited as you go and even print your map.
We've toured 37 states in the last two years in our Casita (soon to be 21' Escape in November). We call ourselves the " Tennessee Vagabonds" and plan on continuing our journeys as long as we can. We've seen a lot, but there is a lot more that we haven't seen. Oh what fun!!!!!

Small Sticker Map
We like the one from StickerMaps.com. It is small enough that we can put it on the inside of our door. Since this photo was taken the states are all filled in except for Hawaii.

Leon,
How come Pennsylvania is filled in? You never stopped in to see me when you came through?

We loved our sticker map when we had the toddlers in the Scamp. Our rule was that you had to overnight in each state to be able to have a sticker ceremony in the morning and apply that state. I remember coming home on one of the month-long trips in OR and the kids wanted to get Washington on the map. We had to detour up to tri-cities and find a campground so they could bag WA.

I bought a plastic sign at Lowe’s and cut it to size then mounted the map on the reverse side. I put holes in the corners and with a rope I hang it on the outside under the stove vent using a command hook. We take it in when traveling so it stays out of the weather.

After losing all my stickers everytime we get another trailer. I wised up and cut out a pick of wood and applied my map. It’s secured to the trailer by Velcro. It’s mounted on the inside of the door. I’m trying to add a photo, but I can’t seem to figure it out.

We have been through a couple of times, but I don't think we have ever been near York. One of these days though!
PS: the rule is we have to spend at least one night in the trailer for a state to count. The only exception is Alaska (which has an asterisk on the map). We went there on a cruise. But I intend to drive there one of these days....

York is about 30 miles from Gettysburg NP for any history buffs.
