Sewer Hose Holder, Replacement and Reuse of Original Hose Holder

Because of the limited space available on the back bumper of a typical Escape trailer, an off-the-shelf sewer hose holder will not fit. Reace and the boys install a custom built PVC tube, but the inner diameter was too small for my sewer hose end fittings. Using a tip from another FiberglassRV.com link, I installed a replacement hose holder fabricated from 5 inch square fence post.

Please see this link from FiberglassRV.com for details. http://www.fiberglassrv.com/board/in...topic=20567&hl

Re: Sewer Hose Holder, Replacement and Reuse of Original Hose Holder

I needed to add a slinky holder onto my 04 17b.

I went with the Valterra EZ hose carrier
A04-0151 - 46"

It fits nicely - centered on the bumper with room to secure it. I need to store the attachments elsewhere.

hope this helps

I bought the same one I think from Camping World last year after one of the hooks on the hose end broke off and I discovered, after buying three different ends, that none fit in the carrier our trailer came with.
The end brackets on the hose carrier above are the exact same width as the frame rails on the trailer. I drilled and tapped four holes for 1/4-20 S.S. bolts and mounted it under the frame. We do have the high lift axle and 15" tires so there is more than enough clearance.
