Shipping to ETI
Need to send a couple cables, how would I ship, USPS or UPS?

If you can ship via USPS, I believe it will save brokerage fees that are tacked on to UPS & FedEx shipments...

Have to ask what exactly are these cables?
Are they not available in Canada?
etrailer.com, for instance, has a warehouse in Ontario and can ship Canada Post from there, avoiding hefty UPS brokerage fees.
FraserWay RV is also a potential source, located 20 minutes from Escape.

Thanks for the suggestion but they are cables I have sitting on the kitchen counter, 25' cat 5 and 4 conductor flat phone cable, available at any HD, Lowes, or Walmart I suppose. But then as I already have/had the cable there is no purchase price only shipping, so savings on a local purchase and drop ship is probably a wash.

Have you talked to ETI?
At some point they are going to have to limit the options and customization just to stay sane, if not to stay in business.

Yes, I did talk to them. One would think they would charge enough for the mods that they are equitably compensated for their time. Frankly it would probably remove a good deal of stress if they would limit it more then they do. An 8 month wait gives you an awful lot of time to tinker.

Yes, a few posters have said that ETI will no longer do some things; that plus the increase in pricing of some customization work indicate to me that too many options are wreaking havoc with their inventory and production schedule.
