Solar panel bolt down kit

Thank you. Looks to be a good install technique. This must be the 160W solar panel. Clear silicone sealer on the exterior bolts ?

I agree, but if install I them I'll probably mount the brackets so the feet turn inward instead of outward, for cosmetic reasons.

Outward pointing feet so the holes can be drilled without moving the solar panels .

You would need to be 7' tall to see the base either way.

Given how close that is to the edge of the lining, I think I would rather cut a slit in the lining, fold it out of the way, install the washer directly against the fiberglass, cut the bolt and fold the lining back down and tape it together. In the cold weather, that bolt looks like a shortcut to the cold outside air, with a cold radiator of washer on the end.

Solid mounting, though...
