Some Simple Mods

Our first camping season is over and I would like to share some mods I have done. Not as intricate as some seen here but they make the trailer a little more comfortable.
We found some metal mesh shelves at Canadian Tire. I got a strip of aluminum from Home depot-cut it to size and drilled 4 holes. I then suspended the strip from the front window casing by 4 small hangers attached to the screws that were already there. The shelves fit neatly over the strip and I squeezed them tight with pliers. That alleviated the some of the junk that seems to pile up on the table and now we can find the bug zapper when we need it. The other shelf just slips over the window sill above the sink. We kept that removable and put it in the sink when travelling.
On some suggestions found on this forum. I painted the hub caps, stove vent, electrical cover and bathroom vent. They were yellowing. Our graphics are black so it was no problem matching. I took the screws out of the stove vent before I painted it.

Nice job. It's those type of mods that make it your own and life a bit more comfortable.

Looks good. I've not seen the range vent in black before, but with the black stripes it works.

I like the bin over the sink, if I remember I;ll see if I can't find something similar down here.

I need to do something about the escape hatch in the loft, it's yellow too. If someone reads this who remembers what paint they used to more or less match the body I'd appreciate the info.

Paint to match trailer is Fusion Dover White.
It depends on the window frame you have what sort of bin or attachment will work.
Mine are Rubbermaid and have a lip that fits naturally on the window rim.

Thanks, maybe I'll get a warm enough day to do such.
