Thanks! My used TA didn't come with table top slides, so I reckon if I'm adding them, might as well slide both ways...

I did the same as Charley & Lucy, on mine even with the leg clamped mine rotates, just not freely.

Bob, you probably already know this, but you can adjust the clamp force by turning the knob.

Actually I never looked, but it makes sense. Kind of like being able to swing and slide it whenever the whim hits me.
