It seems like a fantastic modification to me.
(I wonder how many body parts I'll have to sell to get one.)
Yes. Here's the link:

Springfield 3-Stage Air-Powered Table Pedestal - Overton's

If you enter the code SAVE15 during checkout, they knock about $48 off the price. $271.99 is alot better than $319.99.

Now, if you wanted, does it lift out of the base for removal? Also, is it height adjustable between min and max?

No sir, permanently mounted to the floor with 6 screws. Can't pull the shaft out of the base either. We didn't mind that, considering how much more versatile it made the table, and the added legroom with one centered pole vs two parallel poles.

Adjustable, yes.

How is it adjusted? Lever, button, clamps?

Man, the price now is an incredible bargain compared to what I had to pay for one 20 years ago for my boat.

I wouldn't be surprised, given that more Escape owners are discovering how much better they are compared to the factory offering, that, at some point, ETI doesn't put it on the option list.

Each section is clamped with a ring and lever. Just pull out or push in on the lever. Because of the default raised height of 28", we just leave it all the way up. The really cool part is the ability to rotate it.

I imagine you would need something to slide the table forward first, no?

Do you mean in order to clear the cushions or walls? Our table was installed sliding left to right and we just kept it that way. When the table is unclamped it will rotate as far as clearances allow. The 3rd photo in post #1 shows it slid all the way to the right then rotated left about 30 degrees, but of course it can rotate more.

Yes, in order to clear the walls. There would be no room to turn the table more than a couple degrees without risk of damaging the wall surface. Is yours a U-shaped dinette? I could definitely see that working good there.
