Storage Box
Hello all,
We are relatively new Escape owners. We purchased an almost new 2016 19' last July. Our rig came with most options but does not have the front storage box. I am trying to find a good place to store chocks, leveling blocks, hoses, etc. Has anyone made their own storage box? We have been using the outside storage hatch but it is somewhat of a pain to haul things in and out of. Any thoughts, suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Karen

In our 19 I stored all that stuff in the hatch under the bed. I did put in a larger batch though.
You could always contact Escape, and either arrange to go for a trip and get one installed, or they could ship one out to you I would imagine.

Karen, some owners have indeed made their own storage box, as was mentioned. My advice though (and take it for what it's worth) is to get one from Escape if you can. It's the right width to protect the entire lower front of the trailer, holds plenty of gear, and for us it's indispensable. If you price out ready made boxes that are anywhere near suitable for an Escape, you'll find they aren't cheap, so $700 isn't really bad at all.

I couldn't agree with that statement more. Take a nice vacation to Chilliwack and get it done right. Loren
