Curious if the top of the storage box is parallel enough to the frame of the trailer to use as a reference surface for leveling the trailer - thinking of just putting a large "bulls-eye" type level on top if it is........

The top slants down forward for water run off, but side to side should be level.

Sounds like I should be able to fabricate a mounting wedge for a level setup on top of the lid - I hate those little bubble jobs that Escape uses (having those left off) but am having a hard time locating larger white ones.

How about the Jumbo Level #30939 that Camping World has. Big enough for ya

Those a bit too large. I bought larger bubble vials and will just make white ones a new Widget Works product since nobody sells them.
