Stove cover

For those with the stock, 2 burner stainless or black cooktop stove, here is a wooden stove cover that fits perfectly over the stove. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Jim
We were just discussing stove options. Are you glad you went with stock option? Did you position it sideways to conserve counter space?
I like this cover as an altnerative but I saw a photo with someone installing a recessed stove top, I wonder if that is an option during the initial build?

In my first Escape 19 I reversed the stove and sink, moving the stove by the door, in my next Escape 21 I had the oven with 3 burner stove top, in my present I have the ss 2 burner stove. With the stove cover there is no need to pay the $$ to rotate as there is still room for a coffee maker between or anything else electric on top the cover, I think the cover look better in the stock location vs rotated. No experience with non stock items.

Yes, this way the wooden cover can serve dual purpose, a cover and as a serving tray to take items outside. I put the stainless cover in garage.

It is an option, but of course, you'd have to supply the stove to Escape before the build starts. I installed ours afterwards.

Counterspace problem solved.

Jim, do you store the bamboo cover while under tow?

Here are some pictures of mine, just noticed that the bamboo cover matches the bamboo spice rack. Plenty of space to the left and on top and to the rear.

I have not towed with it in place as it just arrived, but I will say it fits snugly over the stove.

Strange it did not come up, now I know, I had not signed in, makes a difference to sign in to prime vs just amazon.com, either way, a nice add for under $6 is this, make a nice matched set

BTW, Amazon is offering a $10 gift to add a $100 to a gift card. So you purchase a gift card, they credit you with $110 and use that for your purchase, like a 10% discount. More money spent.....do not look wetzk

Made this to work as serving tray and cover. We do tow with it in place without issues.
