Hope this helps, Tom

Within a "bit" is just fine. I didn't want to look for stuff, really like something that's too short or too tall. I'm just noodling right now.

You may want to wait until you start using your new unit, a replacement may not be as sturdy or hand friendly. Here is the added one on the 19' at the door entrance:
Jim - Did you attach with screws through the frame or with super-sticky glue/tape? And where did you find your handle ... looks like part of the build.

Here it is http://www.amazon.com/RV-Designer-Co...ords=rv+handle
I attached with screws thru the side wall and the bottom screw was long enough to dig into the side counter top with a small spacer. Top screw was not as long

Donna it is good you are taking your time before settling on a new stripper pole design for your Escape. So many options! I feel I must jump in here with a few helpful suggestions for you.

I captured a picture a very long time ago. Just like every vertical service is fair game for storage... so is this fairly minor area. I was kinda thinking of something similar to this...

What is that? A towel hanger? Where did you get it? It looks like it could be real handy in a trailer.

Ah. Very good Karen. Plus Frank Lloyd Wright, and my personal funky favorite on the left by ...unknown Colonial Mexican.
