The existing roof vent in the bathroom gives plenty of ventilation, especially if you also have an opening window in the bathroom.

Would be rather loud with a Maxx fan in that small enclosure.

Each camper has the same intake vent on the side. You can service the fridge through that vent.

I agree with ice-breaker that the bath vent is fine with the opening window and new bath door. With them open and the MAXX fan on you exhaust or supply air to push or pull moisture out of the bathroom.

Hi: MyronL... That's quite an eventful picture you posted. Is it good luck to have a raven perch on top of your Escape? All we get here on the north shore are beach chicken fly by droppings!!! Thanks for the opportunity to VENT. LoL Alf

Are the fans on the Texas Fridge option, thermostatically controlled or just time cycled?

LOL, I figured that's what he was referring to. Seagulls in Tennessee but what do we know, we don't have beaches.

Yes, the raven is wise,
His beak’s not agape.
To perch on a trailer
T'must be the right shape:
a chardonnay grape,
Delicious for gait.
And so the Escape,
Adhesive as tape,
Is just the right shape,
For the raven’s landscape.

As in, if I know that fridge is less than 42F, shouldn't the freezer be OK?
In warm ambient conditions, if the fridge is less than 42F, the freezer should be cooler... but the proper temperature isn't just below freezing, it's 0 F. If all you use the freezer for is ice cubes and chilled vodka, barely freezing will do.

As I mentioned before, the conditions in which I found the freezer contents actually thawing was when the outside temperatures were so low that to maintain something like 42 F in the fridge, the unit didn't have to run at all... so the freezer was about 42 F as well.

Now I get it, but that's never been a problem in my experience. Must be repetitive opening of the fridge for a beer.

So just in case anyone is interested, after one fairly long discussion with Reace and a short follow up we're planning to put the Texas fan on our build sheet. Reace did not push this option -- he presented the fact that he's doing something different during installation, mentioned all the things that have been mentioned on this forum (battery operated fans to move air inside the frig, ice packs, parking in the shade, but we decided to go ahead so that if we're in Arches some summer, 19 miles from town and the frig runs hot we'll just accept it and won't kick ourselves in the head for not getting the fan.
