Thanks Jim Bennett For Cabinet Lighting Idea!
Back in June of 2017, Jim Bennet inspired me when he posted this photo of his LED lights in the cabinets of his Escape 5th Wheel.
Since that post, I have installed LED lights in every cabinet door orifice, including the outside hatch doors.
Today, I completed my LED project by installing accent lights to the pleated draw-down window shades. They look great and Lola is very pleased!
Thanks again Jim!

Looks like a fancy hotel room . We are the opposite when it comes to light especially outside, looking at the sky on a clear dark night with no other light interference is really cool especially out west when you can see the Milky Way. One of the things I've never seen that is on my bucket list is the Northern Lights.
Enjoy the journey.

Um, thanks, I think, Fred. Now Lisa wants me to take it to the degree you have.
Looks great, looking forward to seeing it (and you guys again) in Osoyoos.

Looks great Fred - Dora told us that if you don't have something to do, you're not happy. You must be very happy with this!
Did you get the LED strips that change color and dimmable? I could see red leds useful at night.

Thanks Tom (tdf-texas)!
No...these are just warm white lights. She did not want reds installed under the valance.
I was, however trying to figure out how to put red ones to shine on the floor. That is still a work in progress.

Hey Fred, go to #113 here http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f8...s-8841-12.html
I installed some red led lights inside the lower kitchen cabinets and some vents to allow the light to illuminate the floor at night and by the door.

Steve, sometimes you have to go south to see the aurora borealis. Once in a lifetime event. Image taken in December of 2003 from the Chiefland Astronomy Village in Florida.

We sometimes see them in Oswego looking north over Lake Ontario. The problem is every time they were happening, the usual gray cloud cover made it impossible to photograph them. The most annoying time was when I could see the clouds brighting & dimming from the lights, but couldn't see them.
I met a photographer when I was in Alaska that suggested coming back in March or April to shoot the lights - while we were there in June & July, the sun never set until 11:00 at night, and it never got completely dark.

Yes, I put them on round switches. You can get very creative on how to turn them on/off. In my case, I made something out of a piece of wood to hold the rocker switch.
I had to drill a hole into the cabinet above and tied into a 12V drop that was inside the cabinet. I dressed it up with loom to hide the wires.
