Hi DKirk,
I also like the looks of your bookshelf and spice rack in the background. Did you show those off in another post that I missed?

Good job!

Tom

That spot looks like it was made for the heater...great place to dry out some wet shoes.

Good catch. The small spice rack by the sink is from Camping World and holds dish soap and such, seems to stay put under way. The shelf by the bed is also a spice rack from Amazon that holds phones, glasses and books. Both turning out to be super handy

Nice work, looks familiar. Did you have any issue working with the new style outlets?

The heater is a Broan 174. I changed the wiring inside from 1500 watts to 750 watts. That should leave some power for other things even on a 15 amp circuit. The cube heater we had previously was always warm enough on its lowest setting. I got tired of kicking it under the dinnete. Escape may want to offer the electric heater as an option although it is an easy mod.

My first Broan I installed a switch to activate that second circuit if needed, the other 2 installs I just went with the smaller watt heater. It is very quiet. I also installed it's own illuminated power switch.

I will change the outlet to the old style before finishing the wiring today. Maybe put a switch for the heater as well. I am too old to figure out new fangled wiring devices.

Me too, I'm going to ask for the old style outlet when adding 2 extra 120v outlet options in my new Escape, easier to work with the old type.

I have the smaller Broan mounted on the 45. After it ran for a long time, the floor got a bit warm in front of it. I took pliers and straightened the louvers to blow straight out. Heat carries further and floor stays cool now.

Yesterdays mods

Replaced the new fangled box with the old familiar type. A switch for the heater and retaining use of one receptacle (which we never use anyway)
