Ah .... thanks, Jim. I know lots of folks have worked to improve bathroom venting, but I haven't found any need to as of yet. It's not like long, hot showers are an option. We have the bathroom window on our 19' and find that it, in conjunction with the ceiling vent is adequate. Am I missing something here? Thanks.

Possible some heat in the winter could enter with more ventilation, but other than that, nope.

I was going to put some of those on too, but knowing me, I'd manage to bang my head into them. Thats the main thing I like about the Umbra - that the hooks fold in.

Well that depends on whether or not you're willing to spend $1000. This one replaces the 6 Gal tank system and is on demand.

Glen, you are right, the 3M command hooks work well for a lot of things, and we use them often.

But that said, we ended up with a total of 15 umbra hooks in the new 21:

• three just below the "stripper pole" (I thinkit was Donna who came up with that term :-) )
• Five hooks on the side of the bathroom above the foot of the bed
• three hooks on the night stand facing the bed
• two hooks on the side of the wall facing the passenger side dinette
• two hooks on the side of the fridge wall facing the driver's side dinette

I know that sounds like a lot of hooks. Lindy uses some of them for her stuff. We use more hooks in the fall/spring when extra jackets are nice to have handy. Some of them only get used at night when I hang my clothes on them. one holds my hat, one holds my "man purse", one holds a fleece vest, one holds a walking stick, I don't know that we have ever used all of them at the same time, but just give us time.

In spite of the many Umbra hooks, we also find lots of uses for command hooks -- one to hold my keys, one to hold the dog leash, one to hold the fly swatter, etc. etc. Also, we use a few waterproof command hooks in the bathroom for towels, wet water shorts, and stuff like that. Only thing about the ones in the bathroom is that we have to leave the door open so they dry out. If we are stopped, we have some suction cup hooks we can attach to the outside of the trailer (assuming it isn't raining).

I guess if I were a pirate, I would be "Captain Hook"

Aside from one bar with 6 hooks on it, we have multiple hooks that go on 3/4" cabinet doors, similar to the ones below. If they don't get used, no big deal, but it is not uncommon for most of them to be used most of the time.

We also use a paper towel holder that goes on top of a cabinet door. This solution works great, as it is usually inside the cabinet, out of the way, but real easy to access. If you think you will use it a lot, just hang it on the outside. It even work great on the upper cabinet doors, as do the coat hook ones.

Jim, I forgot to mention, we have those hooks too! Right now we use it for the garbage bag because when attached to the closet door the garbage is too high for Murphy-the-dog.

Glen, we got ours at the local Hardware store, so I don't know a link other than searching Amazon...

My remembry does not work that good. Besides, I think LIsa picked them up. I know some of the hooks came from a local kitchen supply type store.
