It's your trailer, you can put them anywhere you think you will need them. I have seen them on the bath wall facing the door and on the refer wall in the bed area.

The location for mounting the Umbra Hooks depends on which trailer you're talking about. In our 19, we thought the most logical locations were on the outer bathroom wall as you enter the trailer, and on the passenger side dinette wall. For the dinette wall location we had the Umbra cut down to a 3 hook. And yes, Escape will install Umbra Hooks wherever you want them at orientation. Just make sure to coordinate this ahead of time.

We have some in the bedroom area, beside the fridge. My "valuables" hang there. Out of sight, and not the first thing you see when entering trailer.

Don't forget the Umbra mini cubby organizer too. These are handy and don't take up much more room than the hooks themselves. On the 19 we put one on the bath wall straight across when you enter the trailer and one on the passengers side rear partition over the bed.

I want to put the Umbra mini cubby organizer on my Escape 19 on the wall between the stove and the bed. I want to place it in the bed area. Are there any studs on this wall? I have not been able to find any build photos showing stud placement.

In my past 3 Escapes, I have mounted items on that wall, both the kitchen side and bed side. There is framing along the edge as well as along the wall and down the middle. The shelf is not that heavy so the paneling should hold it if you hit a stud on the opposite shelf mounting place or vice versa. Another option is paying extra to have the whole wall reinforced at additional $$.

Get one of the super magnets at a hardware store; makes it easy to find the colored staples ETI uses to attach the pretty wood to the framing so you know where the studs are located.

I did an umbra cubby there and could only leverage the framing along the edge. The cubby was not wide enough to catch another stud so there is also some VHB on the back. If it doesn’t hold over time I will just drill a hole and do a toggle bolt with shortened wings to fit in and open within the thin wall. This is on a 2010 19. The newer trailers could be different.
