I have noticed that ETI is more hesitant recently regarding implementing measures that could potentially result in adverse reductions in hitch weights. Case in point is the location of the batteries in the 19'. Previously, installing the batteries inside the front dinette was an option they would consider (as opposed to on the front of the trailer) and I have that option on my 19', but now they will only locate the batteries on the front of the trailer. I guess the current limitation on "recommended max rear hitch weight" was implemented for similar reasons.

I have got the 300 lb version although I don't expect to ever come close to that.

Hi: captmath... I stepped onto the rear bumper of our previous 5.0 and sent the nose skyward!!! Even my scant 200 lbs. was enough to off balance the stationary trailer. Alf
